The Bestway Flowclear sand filter pump is an excellent choice for keeping above-ground pools clean without additives or chemicals. The filter pump is based on a natural filtration system: water is pumped into a tank of silica sand, which picks up impurities and particles to produce clean water. The ChemConnect dispenser maintains and delivers clean and healthy pool water because the dispenser lock provides a stable chlorine level, which is necessary for proper chemical balance. The pre-filter screen basket is an added mechanism that captures larger particles, such as leaves, hair and debris. It also protects your pump's impeller and helps keep the pump running smoothly. This filter pump has a 6-position valve that can be adjusted to different settings for pool water filtration, closing (stopping the water flow), backwashing (to clean the sand bed), rinsing (for first time setup, cleaning and sand bed leveling), draining water from the pool and pool water circulation. The built-in timer allows you to set an automated work period, and the top flange design allows 360° rotation for quick and smooth installation. Note: sand is not included in delivery. This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they are supervised by or have been instructed in the use of the device by a person responsible for their safety.
