Het apparaat is eenvoudig te bedienen. Wanneer je hem op het stopcontact aansluit, zal het groene indicatielampje gaan branden. Vervolgens kan je de thermostaat op de juiste temperatuur instellen. Het apparaat begint op te warmen wanneer het oranje indicatielampje brandt. Het apparaat warmt zeer snel op dankzij het vermogen van 3.000 watt. Het heeft een uittrekbaar lekbakje onder de plaat voor eenvoudige reiniging. Een houten deegverdeler is ook inbegrepen om het deeg gelijkmatig op de plaat aan te brengen.
